project's context
'Sonic Jacket' will communicate in discovering new social patterns and reenacting relations with the nature, people, city, specific situations, particular localities, etc. In the project's context term 'location' is taken as an abstract. It is related more to the unique sound impressions that every place carries with itself and people's experience of that place than with his exact geographical longitudinal and latitudinal position.


'Sonic Jacket' will help in revealing new relationships in public spaces and it will try to materialize invisible social networks and power human interaction and awareness inside them.


The project can also go into a direction of making physical and mental self-awareness more acute. In this sense the project is concentrating on outer impressions that can influence a traveler and the inner experience or reactions on this impressions that one have. Outer impressions can be a landscape through which one moves, people one meets and situations that one is going through. These impressions will be sort of recorded journeys that will be shared in a direct interaction between the traveler and other people.
